The TechFlo range of benchtop units has been developed to aid the activities of a busy laboratory. They are particularly useful in situations where the process being performed is of a type that it is not necessary to tie up space in a full size fume cupboard.
Providing at source filtration of potentially harmful pollutants is essential during a technician's general daily work processes.
TechFlo filtration & extraction cabinets offer high standards of operator protection, durability, high versatility, and high flexibility in filtering & extracting gases, fumes, vapours and fine powders and compounds of low toxicity.
Available in a variety of sizes to suit most applications, the enclosures are in the form powder coated steel hood enclosures or of clear shields and containment hoods allowing for maximum visibility.
With turbulent free airflow extremely accurate balance readings are possible without effecting operator protection. Applications include the filtration of fumes, vapour and particles emanating from; monomers, adhesives, hazardous powders/particulates (when HEPA filters are used), resins, sealants, solder and organic solvents etc. These are all low toxicity substance. They would not be suitable for use with high toxicity chemicals or potentially dangerous substances, and these should be used in conjunction with fume cupboards as usual.
Please bear in mind that if possible, a unit which would duct to the outside atmosphere would be the most efficient.Our relevant units are presented to the right.
